Liam was our “dog nanny” for more than three years. He was an invaluable member of our family team and our dog simply adores him. I use the term “dog nanny” because the services Liam provided far exceeded those typically associated with an ordinary dog walker. Liam began working with us when our black lab puppy was just 6 weeks old, just after we brought her home from the breeder. As a working parent, I was very concerned about how we could manage a new puppy and take care of her significant day-to-day needs. I worried that we would never be able to find someone who would be able to ensure that she got enough playtime and, more importantly in those early weeks, make sure that she had frequent bathroom opportunities! Liam promptly put our worries to rest – he knew exactly what our pup needed and he suggested a daily plan to make sure that all her needs were met. Liam made frequent, regular stops to our home to make sure our puppy was comfortable and learning the bathroom ropes. When she was older, and able to play with other dogs, Liam introduced Lily to “the puppy playgroup” which became the highlight of her day for over three years. Even when I was home, our dog anxiously awaited Liam’s daily arrival at our back door, and bounded into his car the minute she was out the door.
Liam had a unique relationship with our pup and I suspect with every pup he works with. He is a natural with animals-- confident, loving, fun and intuitive, often sensing something was “off” with our pup long before we realized the problem. Liam also had a wonderful relationship with us. He is an excellent communicator and kept us informed of Lily’s weekly activities, any issues in the playgroup, and any vacation plans well in advance. He reminded us when it was time to start using the tick treatment and when it was too hot or too cold outside or inside. As busy as our day-to-day lives are, Liam’s reminders out of concern for the well-being of our dog were very much appreciated. Finally, in the more than three and one half years Liam worked with our dog, he never, ever took a sick day – to say that he is reliable is a gross understatement.
When Liam decided to move to points south, we supported his decision but felt that we’d lost a dear family member. Let our loss be your gain!

"Liam is my dog’s third dog walker and by far the best! My dog waits by the door every day for him and begins barking in anticipation as soon as he hears his car door close. I have no doubt my dog is well-exercised and having fun when he’s with Liam no matter if it’s a beautiful sunny day or torrential rain. I have been as pleased with Liam as my dog has been, too. As a stay at home mom, I’m in the unique situation that I actually get to see my dog walker almost every day. Liam is reliable (he’s never missed a day), considerate (he brought his own towel to dry my dog off), and kind (he’s as patient with my toddler as he is with our dog). Plus, he takes really good care of my dog. I highly recommend Liam as a dog walker and truly believe you’d be putting your dog in great hands".

"Liam has been a superlative caretaker for Scylla, our beloved bullmastiff. He constantly faces new challenges with our girl and perseveres every time. First of all, she's a 130 pound spoiled rotten
couch potato that isn't usually willing to exercise. Even on the rainy days, he manages to get her up and walking to get the exercise she needs (often dragging her off of the couch). Then there was the
time she had tumors surgically removed. Her post op follow up consisted of 27 pills a day, 9 of which were on Liam's watch. Since she hates pills, Liam had to devise a new trick each day to get her all of the required medicine - a task that usually took me an hour. There was also a time when Scylla had an infection in her intestinal tract. Because of the infection, she decided to "go do her business" in the house before Liam arrived. I would have expected Liam to call and inform me that she made a disgusting mess in the house. Instead, he called to tell me that 1) she made a mess 2) that he cleaned it up and 3) that he located an outdoor trashcan for the paper towels to keep the smell out of the house. I felt like a jerk, he didn't need to do all of that.
These are but a few examples of how Liam consistently goes beyond the call of duty for the benefit of your dog, You don't have to ask him to do the right thing. He does it automatically".

"I strongly recommend Liam to care for your pet. He has taken care of my dog, Cheyenne, for over two years (since she was a puppy): taking her for daily walks, overnight stays, and longer visits (sometimes up to 2 weeks). When Cheyenne was a puppy, Liam reinforced our puppy training by teaching her good habits both on and off-leash. As she has gotten older, Liam makes sure that she is happy, well-fed, watered, and healthy.
Cheyenne adores Liam and often sits waiting for his car to pull up in the morning- only to leap to his side, ready for a great walk. Liam is firm but caring and always shows respect and love for the dogs in his care. He provides reports on how your dog is doing, including friendly reminders to apply tick repellant, turn up the air conditioning on the really hot days, or keep candy out of reach for the holidays. He doesn't hesitate to go beyond the walks and report on anything that might require attention or follow-up and more than once has helped me out when I needed him to take Cheyenne last minute.
I think it's rare to have someone care for your dog as if it were his or her own- the way Liam does. Liam has shown so much love and affection for Cheyenne that I never worry when she is with him. I therefore strongly and without hesitation recommend Liam- you will not be disappointed. Please feel free to call me anytime if you have any questions." (phone # available upon request)

“Our family could not have been more pleased with the care Liam took of our beloved golden retriever, Tess. Tess was always eagerly waiting at the door as Liam's car pulled down our road, and when she came home tired and wagging her tail you could tell she'd had a great time. Beyond how happy he made Tess, Liam was just a wonderful person. He was so kind and patient with my two small kids, cheerful, responsible, and knowledgeable. I don't think he ever missed a walk in two years, and he always took the time to wipe Tess's paws and brush her a bit before she came inside. Liam boarded Tess at his home several times and went above and beyond making her (and us) feel comfortable and happy. He even took her swimming on the weekend! Any dog (and family) who is lucky enough to have Liam for a friend will not be disappointed.”
